Carnival:Coz/Cayman from Tampa Jan 3rd

Hi! Is anyone going on this cruise also? Just wondering if you are booking your own dives or with the boat. I'm going to be diving alone since the friend I'm with doesn't dive. I may only dive at Coz OR Cayman since I don't want to ditch my friend the whole time (although tempting when diving is involved!). Any recommendations as to who to book with and if Coz or Cayman as the better diving? Thanks

I am not going on the cruise with you but have dove in Grand Cayman and Cozumel both in the past. I recommend Papa Hogs in Cozumel and Neptunedivers in Grand Cayman, both are very accommodating to cruisers. As to the best place to dive, both are great. One thing you need to be aware of is in Cozmel you will most likely have current to deal with and in Grand Cayman there usually aren't any.
