It's an ok place, I've stayed there 4 times nothing fancy just a hotel. I'm sure for more $$ you can stay at a nicer place, but all I require is a door and a bed, and they provide both.
From what I read in another thread they are closed now until mid march '06.

They've pushed back their reopening date from Jan 26 to Feb 15. On 1/2 I was told they had space and could confirm us for 2/15-20. This evening they notified me about the new opening date and that they now could not confirm our res.
Since they won't take a res for their new opening date, I would say don't book any stay with Casa del Mar until after they have actually reopened. Right now it still seems to be a tentative date.
