Channel Islands--Best time?

Does anyone have a recommendation for boats going to the channel islands? I'm thinking of going to Anacapa with Truth Aquatics in April.

The Truth boats are nice, they leave out of Santa Barbara, if you're going to be in that area pick them. But if you are in Ventura or south you may as well pick the Peace leaving from Ventura.

The Spectre is a great boat also, look into that one too.

I dive off the Raptor Welcome to the Raptor Dive Charters Website located in Ventura Harbor, California and really like it. The crew is great and the boat is small enough to have a nice group of divers but not too packed. The other dive boats mentioned are also good. Haven't heard anything negative about any of them.

Dove on Sunday off Anacapa and it was GREAT! You will love it. Cathy

From my dive log last fall...
Anacapa Island -- Sept. 7. Temp at depth: 66 degrees F
UW Park at Casino Point -- Sept. 20 - 21. Temp at depth: 68 degrees F
UW Park at Casino Point -- Oct. 10 - 12. Temp at depth: 64 - 65 degrees F
Two Harbors -- Nov. 14 - 16: Temp at depth: 57 degrees F

I recommend a 7mm wetsuit or a drysuit and appropriate undergarment.
