What kind of suit did you have?cxg31s:I was just in Coz last week and the water temps were running cooler than normal for this time of year. There were thermoclines on some sites, too, so that made a big difference. For the week, my computer readings ranged from 76-81. I would highly recommend taking more thermal protection than you would normally need so you don't spend the week shivering like we did.

We're heading to Coz on Saturday and would like to know if we need to bring the 3mm AND the core warmer.
Angie, you can't just make a statement "I was just in Coz last week" and give no details!!! How was it???
cxg31s:Now, another member of my group is also a WWW. He wore a 1 mil with a 7 mil hyperstretch on top and a polartec hood, and he also froze.
Thanks for the info, we do dive the Northeast so cold is a relative thing. But we will be bringing the full gambit of hyperstretch.cxg31s:LOL I'm sorry, I didn't mean to leave you hanging, but I'm writing a TR and didn't want to give away too much detail! I will post my TR as soon as I get it done, I promise.

The DM (Pedro of Blue XTSea plug plug) even got cold and put on his Polartec under his wetsuit. I don't know what thickness his wetsuit is, but I can tell you he is in dire need of a new one.
