Re: the sign in the OP’s pic of the shuttle booth (very helpful)!! “Servicio colectivo” means “Shared van.” Very reasonable prices per person. The set of prices below that is for a private van. Pricier, yet could make sense for a group of divers arriving together.

Is there a map anywhere that shows the breakdown of the southern zones, perhaps by hotel? I'm assuming it doesn't map to the taxi card since it stops at sur 4 and the taxi card goes to sur 13.
Read my website's page regarding airport shuttles and you can see answers to all your questions. It is much easier to read than the photo and it is in ENGLISH. https://everythingcozumel.com/cozumel-airport-shuttle-rates-and-routes/

You can also see the Cozumel taxi rates and routes in ENGLISH here: https://everythingcozumel.com/taxis-city/

The Airpot shuttle cost jumped the last month. It was 169 peso yesterday to Norte vs 130 peso just recently.

I changed it on my website. If you send me a DM or email the contact number on my website, these things can get changed quicker; I don't often monitor Scubaboard for these suggestions.

Cozumel Airport Shuttle Rates and Routes - EverythingCozumel

The rate card of Flexicab has a price error, but it is their error, They say 169 pesos is 11USD on one line, then on the next line they say 182 pesos is 11USD.

Does anyone have updated rates, these are from over a year ago?

I guess that is too complicated.

From when we entered 2 weeks ago. Cozushuttle left counter and Flexishuttle right counter. You now make a Left when leaving Red light green light and make another Left and go to the end of hall bypassing all timeshare counters on way. At end of hall you go through a blue sliding glass door but you can see the counters . The new exchange rate is 13 to 1 vs 16 to 1. The peso rate remains unchanged from a year ago.

Taxis are not allowed to pick up at the terminal, but private pickups are fine.
Does that include private rented shuttles? I usually prebook transport before I leave the states and just happen to be going there in August.

Only the two officially sanctioned airport shuttle companies can pick up at the airport. If you are prepaying a company online to pick you up, they are most likely going to put you on one of these two companies; vehicles, but charge you a hidden fee to buy your shuttle ticket for you.

Flex Shuttle tickets for 3 people from the airport to Cozumel Palace was $25.
