...they aren't worth a hoot if you get into an underwater fight with henchmen or evildoers.

I learnt from Sea Hunt that you just use a big pig-sticker to cut the exhaust side hose of their double hose reg and the evildoer goes wildly swimming off to the surface in a panic.
 
I have the broken steak knives and shears and line cutters but they aren't worth a hoot if you get into an underwater fight with henchmen or evildoers. You need a real knife for that.

Sometimes I wonder what kind of cutting tool Christina Watson had when she was diving the Great Barrier Reef when her husband David Gabriel Watson cut off her air and drowned her...

I bet it wasn't the mighty Sea Hawk, the Vulcan or the Mark 3 Mod 0 hose slashers.

You need one of these ... in case you need to pry open a submarine hatch or something ... :D

I remember the days when I thought the big pigstickers were awesome. I'm fairly sure I still have one or two around.
