As I read your responses, all those emotions I felt in Toronto last week come back stronger than before. My son left the Navy one year ago and today the Roosevelt (the aircraft carrier he served on) has left port. I am torn between thank God he is out and how proud I would be if he were still in and perhaps he will be called to serve a second time. So now we enter yet another phase of this tragedy as we see our sons and daughters leave their homeland to serve our country.
