I use a Suunto Vyper Air here with wireless transmitter. I like being able to just glance at my wrist for all of the information I need. Plus, I don't like the extra bulk of a console. I keep a backup SPG on me tucked away in case of a failure, but no failures yet. The Vyper has some useful dive planning features I like too, along with dive history and PC software I can use to get even more info like air consumption. The only negative I can think of is that I still prefer a separate compass (it has a digital compass), and you need to replace the batteries every 1-3 yrs.
