I remember back in the 1960s when there used to be "gas wars".

And once the independents were ground down there was consolidation and quite agreements (price fixing) and that $hit was a thing of the past.

i think this may have something to do with the flights getting cancelled.

Just as an fyi, it appears Delta is offering direct flights (daily) from Atlanta again, but not until December 2024.

I think c5diver is on to something with that article.
