DiveTalk (Woodie & Gus) is just a social media blog for entertainment purposes. Nothing more, Nothing less. If you think otherwise, you are either sadly confused or mistaken. Everything DT posts is for entertainment and serves no training or educational purpose. Let's leave that up to the training agencies and only acknowledge DT for the comic entertainment value it is. Personally, I don't have the time nor desire to watch as too busy diving and learning.

But that's not accurate. Woody is an Instructor Trainer and a Normoxic Kiss Spirit CCR instructor. Gus started diving in 2018, became an instructor in 2020, and cave diver in 2021.

Thanks, wasn’t aware as don’t follow DT. DT’s caviler approach to just about everything makes that a bit concerning, if that’s the case. For example, Gus’s first trimix dive on his Sidewinder at Roaring River that could have ended in a fatality….but got blow off as no big deal. New or inexperienced diver’s might unknowing buy into that type of thinking without knowing better.
