I have been diving the Rivera Maya extensively, but for the first time I was staying in Cancun since I needed to offer my non-diving family something more than the ocean....
A friend had recommended to dive with Scorpio Divers. Wow, they really did impress me with their professional and very personalized service. Pick up was on time even though driving through the streets was complicated due to the COP 16, their gear is very well cared for and they did actually have my size except for fins, but we managed - XXsmall is hard to find. Also, they don't take more than 6 divers per boat so you have a relax ride to the sites. Ben and Jorge offer an amazing variety of dive sites since they also arrange for dives in Playa del Carmen; Cozumel, Puerto Morelos and the Cenotes. I dove with Jorge off Puerto Morelos and 4 dives off Cancun including the MUSA, La Perdida with Ben (supposedly a reef that only he knows how to locate) and a wreck where 25 eagle rays passed us by.
It felt like diving among friends, very relaxing, safe and Scorpio's service made it every time a wonderful experience. Thanks!
