Phud:If you're interested in diving the LOOE KEY NATIONAL MARINE SANCTUARY, the ADOLPHUS BUSCH or nearby areas I recommend that you contact Rachel at Wreckreation Charters. She runs a 6-pack out of Cudjoe Key. Her email is rachel@wreckreationcharters.com.
ke167:Stayed at the Sunset Inn over labor day. Older building, however it was very clean with a nice little pool. Paid $70. on the weekend and $50. midweek. Very good place to have breakfast next door. I think the name was Capt. Mike's.

Mitchell:Check out Lime Tree Motor Inn. Mile marker 69.5. Right in the middle of it all.
The Thunderbolt is a great wreck. Huge eels and grouper. The lower keys offer cleaner reefs as most people from Florida don't head down there on their weekend getaways. They usually stay in Key Largo. You'll see that on a Friday as the convoy of boats and cars slow the travel lanes. Looe Key National Marine Sanctuary is pretty cool. As well as the Eagle wreck. Little Italy for Italian food is great and cheap.

mike_s:Maybe this place is a good place to stay with... but we sat
one day and "tried" to count the number of divers/people
they had on one of their boats. It was in the 40's, and
we don't think we counted them all. I've never seen
a cattle boat with so many people on it. That alone
was enough to keep me from staying there.
