Should you need anything while you are visiting please feel free to drop a message. It doesn't have to be dive related. Koloa has been fantastic and the usual amazing critters have been present this past week. The awesome addition of singing whales is pretty cool too. Keep an eye out for the 2 baby frog fish that have joined the Koloa Landing Critter Staff!

Thanks for the info Aquaman Kauiai...we plan on diving Koloa Monday morning. We'll be on the lookout for the frog fish.

Is Koloa a good spot for night dives? Where do you recommend for a night dive?

I've seen Monk seals there. They work for the Division of Forestry and Wildlife and will turn you in if you mess with the wildlife.

Koloa Landing is an amazing night dive. Invertebrate central!

Great spot! And really the only winter time shore dive avail. Excellent inverts! Night octopus, live shells, shrimp and lobster species, and excellent encounters with hunting eels including nocturnal conger eels.

Have a great time ! You'll love it!
