I just got a blood test done and I am allergic to latex, now this leaves me with the option of getting a neoprene sealed suit. Does anyone know if the seals have any rubber on them, sometimes wetsuit seals have some rubber or latex looking material used to make a tighter seal. Also, can you guys suggest any other options? A semi-dry perhaps? or do those seals have latex in them too? I'm diving in Seattle where the water temps get as cold as 48 or so.

I've had a latex wrist seals and a neoprene neck seal on both of my drysuits. & think I've only leaked through the neck twice in all the years I've dove with the suits. The reason I have the two different seals are:

1) my wrists are skinny and the latex makes a good seal given that.

2) the neoprene seal is much warmer and makes my neck happy.

funkyspelunker - I believe some drysuit manufacturers have neoprene that is rubber lined but not all.
