Ok, Indo sounds like the go for this trip. I've got a good many years ahead of me to go everywhere else :D

Indonesia or Philippines sound like they might work for you.... but you need to save up your money and plan a trip to Palau once you get a few more dives under your belt! Palau has some of everything - sharks, mantas, deep dives, sharks, walls, blue holes, sharks, jellyfish lake, anemonefish, drift diving, reef-hook diving, sharks.... :D

Heh. My post-thesis present was a trip to South America :D I don't think a post-postdoc present would really fly at this stage...
 
Don't forget Tahiti and French Polynesia, I don't think I could count all the sharks we saw.
