Equalizing Pain when Snokeling but not Scuba Diving + new beuchat snorkeling fins

Try to pre-equalize before your immersion and keep doing it rigth before you feel any pain is about to come. Also check your head position, if you are heading straight to the bottom on a vertical immersion, try not to look at the bottom while equalizing, in fact look "forward" and see if it makes any difference. Numberone57 advice is also a way to go. There is nothing wrong with your physiology though, maybe you are just used to descend more gradually as scuba.. if so you are probably spending a couple of seconds reaching 10ft and you get extra time to adapt to different pressures while on the first scenario you'll get to 10ft right away. Big difference bro. Pre-equalize and then head down and please, no rush :wink:
