I wasn't disagreeing with John, I was just stating what a sad commentary it is. I admitted to not knowing how to word what I was trying to say, I'm sorry that you guys are so quick to criticize that you can't think about it for a minute.

Sorry for the confusion. Sometimes I'm not as swift as I like to think. 8)

While what you say may be technically true about likening diving the Andrea Doria to climbing Everest, you may be analyzing this a little too much.

Perhaps the spirit of the comparison is that some feel that the Andrea Doria and Everest are simply the "ultimate experience" in each of their respective areas.
