TrojanCatMan:
Who was your favorite instructor?
Steve Sanford, (OW recert after an extended break from diving.) Formerly at SeaDSea dive shop in Redondo Beach, now crewing on the Peace boat. I hope he's teaching at the Peace scuba center. Excellent teacher. A natural in the water, ingenious at catching teachable moments. Intuitive teacher.

Michael Kane (DIR/F): Awesome in the water... just spectacular. Master at creating training scenarios during class that focus on different important issues for each person on the team. Crystal clear demonstrations and corrections. The debriefs are etched (scorched?) on my brain. He makes clear that skills and situational awareness are either exactly correct... or NGE. "Not Good Enough, Chief.. Let's do it again." And then his coaching made each one of us better in definite ways. He's 100% dedicated to making each student in front of him better... because it's only fun if you get home to tell about it.
