Since we haven't been doing the monthly themes lately, let's start a theme thread. A friend of mine posted a lovely poster of flatworms on another forum today, and so let's use that one.

Here's some pics of flatworms I took on my Indonesia trip a few months back ... let's see some of yours ...

Definitely an under-appreciated phylum of marine life... some as colorful as the highly revered nudibranchs, but they just don't get much respect.

Wow! Those are fantastic!
I especially liked the persian carpet, but they're all great.
Flatworms would be great subject matter for juicy water color paintings with vibrant colors.
Are those just a warm water thing or can I find versions of those in cold Northern California waters?
 
From Florida keys. Lined flat worm. Not as dramatic but pretty.
