In Simplicity!!!

Regs, oct, etc. inspected every six months to two years depending on your dive profile. 20 years is a red flag for full service.
Tanks three to five years inspected and checked. No one will refill your tanks as it is expired. It's recommended to have it serviced and thereafter further service if necessary. Or it may not be worth it to service at all. The technician will inform you.
Fins, mask and snorkel may still be in working order test them in a shallow area.

If your going to be a frequent diver with 30-50 dives per year? Purchase your own gear.

Have fun and dive frequently!!!!
