On the west side of the island currents are rare. On the east end currents are also rare but, every once in a while one will come through; we use to call it an east end mossey. However, the fastest drift dive I've ever been on was on the east end. For about 2 days the current ripped from west to east; faster than any current I dealt with in CZM.

Nonetheless, currents are rare.

We'll be there the last week of April, first part of May. Staying at the Morrit's Grand, I can't wait. sounds like awesome temps.

Hey, we will also be at Cobalt Coast the second week of April 10 - 15. Trying to decide what thickness wetsuit to bring.

My wife and I own a week at The Reef out East End and go the first week of May every year (We'll be there 5/2-9) - We always dive 3mm shorties that time of year.

Most people used 3mm or simply wore rash guards and shorts. The air temp will be quite nice, maybe on the warm side if your not use to the humidity therefore, making the water a pleasant way to cool off.
