we were on the deck of the Niagara II in 78 ffw 10 days ago. The temp at the deck was 34 degrees. Charterboat captain (Dave from G&S driving the Lark) gave one of the best predive briefings that I can recall, including how to deal with a Free Flow. We ( Nine divers all from around Flint) had no problems with the gear in two days and six dives, but Capt. Dave said that the week before, 5 of seven divers had Free flow problems when diving the Niagara II. So easy to get into trouble in deep cold water.... glad that everyone got back to dry ground none the worse, except a bit cold.
