Just an update. I passed my open water training today at Bainbridge Quarry and now part of the ranks of the inexperienced newbie divers. Whoo Hoo! Looking forward to warm, blue water!

Welcome, Josh. Quite a few MD, DC, NoVA divers here. ScubaBoard is a great resource. And yes, Scuba definately has less elitism than other sports such as polo or cricket.

Welcome fellow East Coaster, Virginia here, I also am new to the site and the surf also.
This looks to be a great site and a wealth of information.
Good luck and Warm Waters.

Welcome Aboard!!!

It's addictive, but who cares?!?!?

Good friends and good info. What could be better???

P.S. - If you have not already done so, please fill out your profile.
