I Live on the Quebec / Ontario border my play ground are the wrecks of the St Lawrence River and Lake Ontario.

Brrrrr... (shivers the WWW who although desperate to dive at times, simply cannot bring herself to dive local ever again after optimistically trying it via drysuit certification) :wink:

You would be surprised with the right gear and a good source of heat to run to when you get out its not that bad, and the vis is fantastic the only way I can dive all year round, although I am heading to Coz in January when I dive there feels like I am diving in my birthday suit in comparison.

I have always been fascinated with ice diving and want to try it. But then there is that other part of me that screams, ""F" THAT!!" :rofl3:
