I was thinking about doing a night dive at Hanauma Bay some upcoming Saturday, but haven't been able to find any info online or on their recorded voice message pertaining to which Saturdays and how late they stay open. Do they still do this or have Hanauma Bay night dives disappeared along with our state budget?

Thanks Chim-

I found that page, too, and couldn't find anything on it about the night dives.

It was every 2nd Saturday up until the furloughs kicked in July. The signage at the Bay hasn't changed but odds are, it's been discontinued.

Kanon-I did that after the internet failed me and got a recorded message that said everything I learned on the website with still no mention of a night dive.

Done. Checked with the volunteers topside and down at the beach kiosk this past Friday. No Saturday nights since the furloughs started. No idea if/when it'll resume.

I guess that brings us back to a dilemma: what good night diving spots are left now that the North Shore is closed up for a year?

Peace,
Greg
