looking forward to find local dive to show new beach divers the ropes. how far out do you have to go? and do you swim out or scuba? thanks

o one more question is 2 people ok to beach dive or should i be in a bigger group?

How far depends on what we want to see. Anything from about a ten minute swim to a forty minute swim. We usually kick out on our backs inflated at the surface.

I see you are a brand new diver so I'd suggest going out with a group that knows what they are doing. Beach dives can be easy but if something happens, there is no boat to pick you up!

I suggest you check out this group of AVID beach divers and hook up with them. Gold Coast Scuba Meetup

the bigger the better...that way you have a less likely chance of getting eaten alive by a nurseshark and a big lobster!!! check out the meetup...but be prepared....they dive a lot!

People dive from the beach?
That seems so unsafe to me!!
Chug
Move along now.
Nothing to see here.
