I used the FredT "leftover" 2" webbing as well for my strap. A little stiff to work with, but no comfort problems while wearing.

Could some one tell me why so many people are down on DR?
While I haven't yet moved to a BP/W I do dive my TPII w/crotch strap & will be looking into the BP/W set up.
