I use the Light Scribes and a Canon printer that prints full colour right on white disks. Everyone loves the colour versions!

For my own use, I use a sharpie
Ditto....except I didn't use the Lightscribe yet. I just got a new Pioneer DVD writer as well and that uses something similar to Lightscribe.....but different! I haven't used that either yet.

Dunno what a 'sharpie' is - just print to the white disks.

light scribe bad idea burner life no good if you want to print on dvd's go inkjet verbatime disc and use a a epson printer that has the tray to print to dvd's the cost of inkjet dvd is only a few cents more per disc where light scribe disc are alot more

I have an Epson R320 and it is fantastic for printing on DVDs If you are looking to save money on ink as well as buy top of the line DVDs go to supermediastore.com. I have used their third party ink in my printer (over 5 sets) without incident. Last time I paid $49.00 for 3 complete sets(thats 6 ink cartidges per set) I also have lightscribe, but it takes too long, the blank media is hard to find, and is a little pricey.

Sounds like I need to get a new printer!
