I had the same number of dives as Laurie did when I took Rescue, I learned a lot, great class and glad I took it when I did .. I may not have retained as much as if I would have taken it later, but .... just when is the time to become a safer diver?

if, as has been pointed out, if you have reasonably good buoyancy and trim , then your ready

Edit: I've seen here on SB that some instructors allow a prior graduate of the course to retake it/refresh it at some later date at reduced cost .. I commend them for doing so ... I would love to retake it
