I just don't log dives
Finished the 18-th dive of my 10-day vacation 5 hours ago, not planning to dive again anytime soon. Computer says 16 hours no-fly time still left. The article from DAN someone cited here mentioned only dehydration as a possible concern, anything else to worry about? What rule of thumb does everyone else use?

I thought it was bad form to start drinking before rinsing the gear some.

If your going to drink after a dive, offer your buddy a cold one first. Good hydration is my priority (yeah, I know plain water is better, just not as fun).

Beers get opened or poured as soon as boat is docked and tied off

And that's why I love diving off my own boat....don't have to wait to get to shore for a cold one. I have a designated driver aka captain, so no worries!

I have a really hard time starting my drinking before I've gotten to the top of the ladder . . .
