That was great stuff, especially when they took Pb out of gasoline! But it won't substitute for non-caring, incompetence and not paying attention. I get the professional pride thing, but reality tells me that I have far more at stake than anyone else when it comes to my regs and inflators. Your mileage may vary. :D
 
So, how does a new diver vet his LDS and their tech service?

I talked to as many people as I could at the local dive sites. That's when I learned not to go with the LDS I normally used. Tank fills, gear etc would be fine but I have my regs services by someone else entirely.
