I have a piece of 1/8" bungie holding my inflator down.

i use a pink wristband with a skull wearing a bow on her head. stretchy but holds it in place. got it at spencers...

you *do* have to take the harness apart to put that or tire bands on, which is a bit of a pain, so put on 3 or 4 so if/when one breaks you already have the next one on.

You don't need to 'make' a loop. Get an old bicyle inner-tube and cut it into sections (loops).

I have bike tubes all over my gear. But at the belt slide, you really want something on the lines of 1/8 bungee, or even a large o-ring. Problem with the o-ring, you have to unthread the harness. KISS

I purchased a motorbike basket netting that is made of bungee and just cut a piece from that...made a loop with a few lockties and it works a charm. Thanks all for the advice.

I have a BP/W from Hollis and the inflator just flops around.

Consider getting a shorter corrugated hose and LP hose as well...
