GOD, you're lucky to live where you do. That's the best diving in the world, IMHO.

Howdy!

Welcome to SB!!
:happywave Put us in your computer's favorites and check in often. This is a great place to learn, compare, argue :argue: Look around our various forums - everything from New-To-Scuba to Instructors-Only to Dive Medicine.

After you get your AOW and feel comfortable with your skills, try a 3 day liveaboard. I did the back of Catalina and the front of Clemente that way last May. 12 dives and almost that many meals in 2-1/2 days!

Well hello neighbor, sort of. Welcome to Scubaboard! There's lots of good diving near. My buddy and I are probably going out soon on a day boat to front-side of Catalina. As far as planning a vacation, we (buddy and I and wives) went to Cancun in May. We stayed at the Moon Palace which is South of the hotel zone and did some dives out of a little fishing town named Puerto Morelos www.divepuertomorelos.com. It was awesome. Catbrown runs the place and she's a member of the board. She also hooked us up with Deep Blue on Cozumel for a couple of dives. It will blow your mind how clear the water is and warm too!
