It's pretty cloudy today. Light, light showers from time to time and there's a bit of wind. Not so bad and the dive ops have all made preparations to keep their boats floating.

The eye appears just north of us now. Still no big rain. No big wind. I've left the tarp up in the back. This looks to be a non-event for the Keys.

Rain is off and on... still no wind to speak of. Our tarp in the back hasn't fluttered much at all. Kewl.

The rain has been intermittent but mostly gentle all day. Bobo, my cat has tried to convince me to stop the water several times. When I point out that it's not possible, he merely flicks his tail in disgust. It's surreal to see the wind and rain that's enveloping the rest of Florida. I think I'm going to pack my scrubber and head out for a dive tomorrow morning. Hopefully, we'll have enough peeps to make the run.

Cuba does a good job of protecting the Keys. Their mountains seem to steer these storms east or west around us. Not always, but the last hurricane to hit Key Largo directly was in the 1930s. iiiii know when it was boogie and becall were there !!!!!!!!!!!
