Howdy!

I just want to join the others in welcoming you to SB. Hope to get to know you around the forums.

I've not dived around New Jersey, so I don't know the conditions. I've dived North Carolina Wrecks, and honestly - would not with an OW diver with only 12 dives. I'd suggest AOW & Nitrox training, and 50 logged dives will make you a lot more appealing. Sing up for classes, hit the quarries, and travel to Key Largo for practrice; or, that's how I did it.

Completing your Profile and keeping your Dive Info up to date helps in future diving instructions. PM me if I can help you learn your way around.

Hi Pete,
New Jersey is not that cold. Actually, right now it is pretty toasty at least at the surface. I'd recommend a 7mm wetsuitor a drysuit, though. You might want to check out the wreck valley part on this board or http://www.njscuba.net/ for information on local diving.
