Sure, but consider it like technical diving... redundant gear, DIR type training with doubles rigs and pony bottles and costs buku bucks.

And you have to know the dive site very, very well.
 
Let's go a little further into this. What depths do you consistently Solo Dive to?

For myself I dive to 100' with little concern. 0-50 or 60 I will do without a redundant airsource if I know the area, 50-100 with a redundant airsource. I will go below 100' but because I dive in cold dark water, sometimes unknown as well, I am cautious of getting narced and when deep am "on the clock" so to speak. Other people may have different rules for themselves but those are mine.
