Is this a good deal/choice for a set of doubles?

If I remember correctly for my double lp72s I got the bands that said work for 6.9 to 7.25 inch tanks. I didn't feel that they were solid enough so I bought 2 inch wide strips of rubber from McMaster to build up the tank diameter. They are very solid now.
