Joe's original thread about LBTS has sure taken a twist.

Joe... did you ever end up going to LBTS or BHB?

DebbyDiver:
I don't know about BHB area, but we had horrific storms down here this morning...I had to skip my morning bike ride. I saw lightning when I went out to fetch my paper. It rained like heck. We need it though..

I refer to BHB as the "ugliest most interesting dive site in FL."

I can't count how many dives I've made at BHB, and every one is different. I've seen more interesting life and other stuff at that one site than any other place I've dove. On one trip ScubaKat11, FLDiveJunkie, and I saw 5 (yes FIVE) sea horses. I will say that FLDiveJunkie has a sharp eye for sea horses. I haven't seen any sea horses in several months... I think they found a new hiding place... I've seen spotted eagle rays, huge stingrays, sea robins, batfish, decorator crabs, flying guynards, etc... and tons of juviniles. I love taking fishid students down there. They see all the normal fish and a lot of unique fish.
