Thanks everyone for the quick identification of my last posting. I'm a novice just about everywhere in the world.

This is apparently a spider-like crab sitting under a rock off Key Largo. The body doesn't look big enough for a spider crab, but I'm a poor judge of these things. It was about 12" tip to tip.

Don't put them in aquariums... they sneak up on sleeping fish and eat them.
 
And for the compliment on the picture. I finally gave up my Reefmaster film camera and got an Oly 5050 with PT-015 housing. This was shot with the internal flash, but I'm considering my options for an external strobe as I write this.

Good move. And good luck. They are EXPENSIVE, but worth it.
