Hey mate,
Many a war has been started over a question like what is a good dive computer. lol. Firstly my opinion is not worth a pinch of salt so take out of this what you want and ignore the rest.
I recently went thru the process of buying my first dive computer and spent a lot of time researching. In the end for me what it came down to was what features were must haves and nice to haves.
There are a few decisions that you need to make what govern what you end up with and just because someone else thinks it’s a mandatory feature don’t mean that you will. Things that were a must have for me were
Number of gasses (Nitrox capable)
Form (wrist vs console) Wrist
User replaceable battery
Gauge mode
Size of display / info available ( liking the layout of data)
Nice to haves fell into things like
Pc interface
Air integration
Compass
Plus many more
All of the dive computers will do what you need them to do to some degree so it comes down to features that are must haves and the things you can live without.
The suunto Zoops are a very popular unit so may be worth a look.
I ended up getting a scubapro chromis which ticked all the boxes for me and has been great so far. It’s a simple dive computer but if I decide to upgrade or get into tech diving it will make a fantastic back up pc.
There are some good sites on the net that compare computers such as

also keep in the back of your mind that dive shops sell dive gear and may not point you in the direction of a competitor’s product.
So my advice is to ask plenty of questions and have a clear mind of what style of diving you will be using it for. There is no use getting a trimix capable unit if you are only ever going to dive on air.
If you have any questions let me know and hopefully I can be of assistance
Cheers
