yeah it did make the sound under water.....
on the 3rd dive i did not notice it .. but i was not looking for it :) to much other stuff .....
If it will continue doing the noises, I'd let someone take a look at it.

Anyway I think he's of to Mares in Italy soon so hopefully can let us know. :wink:

It's a shame really, I don't like the new second stages near as much as the abyss. It sounded like the abyss was going to be discontinued some time back, but it seemed (maybe it was just me hoping) like the depth record thing was enough for Mares to back off of that stance. I guess maybe depth records don't get much coverage, but it can't be good marketing for Mares when/if customers ask about the recent mr22 abyss depth record and get a response of 'they don't sell that one anymore'.

Referring to the first stage in that they do not include a diaphragm. Referring to the second stage with the flip of the seat and cracking adjustment...
