Until I get my wits about me and have the time to compile a full trip report, here is a fun teaser. Diving from Media Luna Resort is a great option because in addition to offering SUPERB shore diving opportunities, it opens up the range of easily reachable dive sites. We were able to run over to Mary's Place to the west, and Carib Point and Calvin's Crack are easily accessible near the resort to the east. Day trips to Pigeon Caye and Barbareta are available through Aqua Adventures for an extra fee. They are always listening to what we want and trying to find ways to make it happen.

Here are a couple of treasures from JUST ONE dive at Calvin's Crack:

An octopus came out to play...in the daylight!

And here is our favorite elusive resident toadfish...he too came out to play :D

We had an AMAZING 12 days at the resort and couldn't have asked for anything more. Trip report to come...

The coolest thing happened during our stay at Media Luna. It was a first for us! Our buddy Matt pulled a COMPLETE surprise after the final dive of his girlfriend's open water certification process. The slate read: "Buddy's For Life?"
