No comments on this one I see... Maybe someone can recommend a good low end starter kit?
 
Two things, I guess. If it works, it could be a nice inexpensive underwater video starter package. I mean, do you really want to give a young person your $600 video camera and $1000 housing? You might, but you do it reluctantly.

hey, im just browsing but waterproof usually doesnt mean for diving. just something to thjink about
 
I checked into it, and they are saying it is waterproof and good for video up to 130 feet. It just seems too cheap to be worth anything..
 
Thanks Marshall, for the link to the reviews. I would expect as much, that the quality is bad. But then again, how much quality does a 13 year old with under 20 dives need to keep him excited. I like being the big uncle and taking him diving, but at the same time I am not sure his Dad should throw his money away either. Got him a couple disposal waterproof cameras to use this weekend and see what he thinks of that.
