Even as a musician I wouldn't listen to anything UW, but again, off topic. I don't do tech., but an hr. long deco stop listening to music does make a lot of sense to me. I couldn't do it anyway as my walkman isn't waterproof......

for me the appeal is on long deco stops, though if you're doing that and you are on your own boat and have surface support you can build an UW speaker for about $50 and play it from the boat. Pretty easy actually, we have one of those that we use on long deco stops, but in the caves it would be nice to have an mp3 player for the stops. Podcasts would actually be pretty nice to have instead of music.
