I've seen "stainless steel" rails on boats corroded right through in three months.
Ah, they should have used "stainevenless steel". :biggrin:

Seriously, though, I'd wonder about the fingerprints, too. It'd be annoying to have to remove gloves just to be allowed back on (or to have to put dry gloves on at the last possible moment). I haven't tried fingerprinting a wet, pruny finger, but that might be a problem as well.
