Ya I read up on it today on Gizmodo.com, however, I've ordered a GoPro aluminium housing that a fellow diver designed, so will be buying a GoPro to go with it later.

What I don't like about Sony's video is it's own video format for 60fps or higher, makes it harder to move to another format.
If you do video in 24 or 30 fps, you can set it to be standard HD MPeg.
 
Looks like it has some real potential. I like the fact that it has image stabilization which is one of the weaknesses of the Gopro. I'd love to see some real life reviews. Price is right too.
