Can someone explain to me why one would need 3 gases in a non-trimix computer?
I understand that one could dive air and deco on 100% and 50% but usually the second deco gas comes in for longer deco for redundancy and other reasons but seems to be more in the trimix realm of depths.
I don't do these dives so maybe I'm missing something...Is having the option for a third gas rather than the Nitek Duo's two gas option all that useful a feature to have in a non-trimix computer?
Is the idea that you could have a longish air dive at 150 and accumulate enough deco that taking two bottles makes sense? It seems a rather limited feature to me.
