Norris Lake Tennessee

Good Afternoon,
Just had a quick question. The wife is dragging me to Norris Lake over the 4th of July weekend. She is wanting to bring the Scuba Gear. Anyone know if its even worth Scuba diving and is it legal? "Some state park lakes in Ohio do not allow diving". Anyhow if anyone has any info on this I'd appreciate it. Just wondering about vis and temps and such also.
