Hi Phil,

Thanks for your advice.

If the PPO-E05 (14-42mm) is shorter than the PPO-E01 (14-45mm/35mm) could the 35mm macro perhaps also be used with the PPO-E05?
I am still looking for a solution where I have to take only one port with me and be able to shoot both normal and (real) macro.

(anybody interested in a fairly new E330 + 14-45mm?)

Yes, the 35 macro will work with the shorter PPO-E05 and much better than with the PPO-E-1 but still not as good as a macro port designed for the lens.

Wow! I did not know this! :shocked2:

Thanks Phil! :clapping:

I wished Olympus would have also presented the PPO-E05 as compatible with the 35mm macro.
So, I am going to cancel my order for the PPO-E01, sell my E330 kit and look for a PPO-E05 port + E520 kit + 35mm macro.
Maybe I will follow your advice and get the Athena macro port sometime later.
