I post pics periodically to share with friends and family, and have been happy with the free posting available through yahoo

http:\\photos.yahoo.com

They have a limit (though you can buy more space), but as I don't leave mine up there permanently, it's ideal for me.

i have been using yahoo. however, i do have trouble posting photos hosted by yahoo on other web sites such as scubaboard. the pix will not appear in the message text. therefore, i finally decided to go with dee's recommendation for allenhost.com. $33 for 1 yr and 300MB storage. and you can link to the pictures from scubaboard (or any other site) and have them appear in the message text.

The problem with PhotoAccess is you have to post a link to the whole album. You can't post just a single photo's URL. The free photo hosting sites have caught on and I don't think any of them allow single postings anymore.

For everything I get from Larry's allenhost.com, it's well worth $1 a month to me!

I use Fotki.com and like it very well. You can link to individual photos as well as any album or folder you create. You can have many subfolders and albums within each. You can password protect any or all folders or albums. Photos are displayed by thumbnail, then screen size, and the original can be downloaded if you allow it.

I beleive it is free up to 100MB and $15/yr for umlimited.

You can also take a look at http://www.ofoto.com.
Again it's full albums that get shared but it's a nice site and the drag and drop upload and photo rearranging are pretty cool
